Dear Current and Future ARTSA Members,

My name is Sophia Kimes, and I am honored to be considered for a state TSA leadership role.

TSA has been an important part of my growth, and I’m excited about the opportunity to give back to an organization that has already taught me so much.

Although I’ve only been in TSA for one year, I’ve made the most of that time by staying active, getting involved in my chapter, and taking every opportunity to learn, lead, and serve. TSA has helped me build confidence, strengthen my leadership skills, and understand what it truly means to be part of a team working toward a shared goal.

Outside of TSA, I’m a soccer player, and that experience has shaped the way I lead. Soccer has taught me discipline, teamwork, communication, and how to stay calm and focused under pressure, all skills that translate directly into effective leadership. I believe in showing up, supporting others, and leading by example in everything I do.

If someone has never met me, I want them to know that I am committed, dependable, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about TSA. I care about making TSA an inclusive, organized, and motivating environment where every member feels supported and inspired to grow.

Through TSA, I’ve gained leadership experience, confidence, and a stronger sense of responsibility. In return, I want to leave a legacy of positivity, dedication, and real impact. My goal is to help strengthen TSA, encourage member involvement, and ensure that TSA continues to be a place where students can thrive, lead, and succeed.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and consider me as a candidate. I would be grateful for your support and your vote.

Be so for real — vote Sophia.

Sincerely,

Sophia
