Arkansas Technology Student Association

Fellow Arkansas TSA I’m Addison Bithell! I’m currently in 9th grade at SIloam Spring High school. I will be going into 10th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. I’m running to be your state secretary. I have been an active TSA member for two years now, for those two years I’ve served as Sergeant-at-Arms for both my high school and middle school chapter. I’ve also competed in events like audio podcasting, leadership strategies, and essays on technology. These positions and events have taught me a lot about myself while giving me a new perspective. My compassion for others has truly grown through serving my TSA chapter. Seeing how important the spread of information is drives my desire to be secretary. Staying in the loop, informed, and connected are key parts in making TSA run smoothly. Those things seem quite obvious, but sometimes in today's busy world those things get overlooked. TSA has taught me that tuning into those seemingly small things is what can set you up for success. Let me Addison Bithell set you up for success.
Communication, Community, and clarity are what my campaign is run on. I want to enable and maintain clear communication so you always know what's going on. Allowing you to have full confidence in TSA and its leaders. Having your community involved in TSA can be so beneficial when it comes to experience, real world connections, and increased awareness. It allows for your chapter to grow and thrive, In addition to expanding your technological skills and growing you as a person. My goal is to make it easier for you to spread and incorporate TSA into your community. Clear records mean fewer struggles and more structure which is what you’d want from your TSA state leaders. I’ll work to provide clarity in every aspect of my role from concise records to keeping your advisor informed. Letting your advisors lead you to the best of their abilities. Vote for communication, community, and clarity!
What makes a good leader isn’t a simple question with an obvious answer. It all depends on what it's for, why they're doing it, what qualities they possess, and many more aspects. Answering a question like that isn’t easy but what I can answer is what qualities would I offer as your ARTSA state secretary. I'm very passionate, leading me to strive for only the best. The passion I have will lead me to only settling for the best, making sure me and my work are to the highest standard. Being adaptable is a huge part of my character. It's in my problem solving and every version of me. Adaptability allows for me to serve in any way needed. Whether it’s in critical thinking or leading where there’s no leader. Self-awareness is a quality I demonstrate. Strengthening my understanding of myself creates a more personal me, who is compassionate and empathetic. A quality that is overlooked a lot when describing a leader but It’s key to being successful. Meeting members with care and dignity becomes possible with self-understanding. One’s character is built by life experiences, relationships, daily decisions, and personal objectives. Those moments are where you grow, I can surely say that is where my passion, adaptability, and self-awareness have improved the most.
Thank you for your time! I know with your vote we can tune into technology, create unity through community and learn to lead in a technical world. Addison Bithell for secretary, standing for communication, community, and clarity. Addison for action!
